Liposuction sculpts the body by removing fat that diet and training will not shift — abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck. It is a contouring operation, never a substitute for weight loss.

A full tummy tuck addresses what liposuction cannot: loose skin and separated abdominal muscles after pregnancy or major weight loss. The muscles are tightened from the lower chest to the pubis and a new navel is created.

Day 7–10The clinic
The clinic has been in the same place since 2000, in Lara — consultation rooms overlooking the Mediterranean, its own treatment rooms, and the accredited hospital where operations take place a short walk away.
Patients from abroad
Patients come to Antalya from the United Kingdom, Germany, Scandinavia, Russia and Australia. The clinic organises the practical side so that you only have to think about the medical one.
Once your booking is confirmed through the contact form, your situation and your goals are assessed and the remaining questions are exchanged — by e-mail, or by speaking directly to the surgeon or your representative if you prefer.
A representative meets you at Antalya International Airport and transfers you to your hotel or hospital room.
You are taken to the clinic for your consultation with Dr. Öksar. The final pre-operative tests are carried out to confirm you are fit for the procedure you have chosen.
You are accompanied to the hospital, and we are the first people you see afterwards. If an overnight hospital stay is needed, the surgeon will advise. After discharge you are escorted back to your hotel and any necessary medication is administered.

Plastic surgery can enhance your appearance and your self-confidence. If you consider yourself physically and emotionally healthy and you have realistic expectations of what the procedure can do, you are likely to be a good candidate. Realistic expectation is the single most important factor.
You meet Dr. H. Seçkin Öksar and explain your interests and concerns, and ask whatever you want to ask. He reviews your medical history and asks questions in order to understand your condition, your goals and your concerns. Reading material about the procedures you are considering is provided so that you can decide with time.
Every patient tolerates pain differently — some describe an ache, others more discomfort. Appropriate pain medication is prescribed after surgery. Operations that require elevating or tightening muscle, such as a breast augmentation, involve moderate discomfort in the first days.
It depends on the procedure and on you. Most patients need assistance for the first two days and can look after themselves soon after. Breast augmentation patients are usually independent by the second day and back at work within five to seven days if no heavy lifting is involved. These are approximations — the timescale for your procedure is discussed at consultation.
All patients are encouraged to start slow walking on the second post-operative day. Regular aerobic and vigorous activity is avoided for the first two weeks to reduce bleeding, swelling and bruising. Weight lifting and contact sports are usually allowed at one month.

The clinic is in Yeşilbahçe, on the Lara side of Muratpaşa, at the centre of Antalya — a short walk from the hospital where operations take place and from the hotels most international patients choose. Face, breast, body and non-surgical treatments are all planned in the same place, by the same surgeon, whether you live in Antalya or are flying in for a week.
