How it is performed
Botulinum toxin is injected into precisely selected muscles to relax the pull that creates dynamic lines. The aim is a softer expression, not a frozen one: dosing is conservative and reviewed after two weeks.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are placed in deeper planes to restore lost volume, or superficially to correct a specific line. Because they are absorbed over months, they are a low-commitment way to test a change before considering an implant or a lift.
The consultation includes an honest assessment of when injectables stop being the right answer. Where the problem is loose skin rather than lost volume, filler will not solve it and surgery is the more honest recommendation.

- Forehead lines, frown lines between the brows and crow's feet at the outer eye.

Recovery timeline
- Immediately
Small injection marks, occasionally minor bruising. Normal activity is resumed at once.
- Days 3–7
Botulinum toxin begins to take effect; the full result appears at about two weeks.
- Week 2
Review appointment; small adjustments are made if needed.
- Months 4–6
Botulinum toxin wears off and treatment is repeated.
- Months 6–12
Fillers are gradually absorbed.
Risks & honest expectations
- Bruising, swelling and small injection marks.
- Temporary asymmetry or brow heaviness after botulinum toxin, which resolves as the effect wears off.
- Lumps or irregularity with fillers, usually correctable.
- Rare vascular complications with fillers — a reason to insist on treatment by a qualified doctor rather than a non-medical setting.

Not with conservative dosing. The goal is that the frown softens while the rest of your expression stays yours.
How long does it last?
Botulinum toxin lasts four to six months on average; hyaluronic acid fillers six to twelve months, depending on the product and area.
Can it replace a facelift?
No. Injectables treat lines and volume. When skin has become loose, only surgery addresses it — and you will be told so plainly.
